    I am trying to implement the if snippet into modx revolution with quip.

    What I am trying to do is use the if snippet with QuipReply as shown below. This doesn’t seem to be working. Does anyone have an idea on how I can get this working? If the if snippet cannot do what I am trying to do is there a way to show only the QuipReply snippet if a user is logged in? I don’t want everyone to be able to see QuipReply form.

    [[!Quip? &thread=`[[*pagetitle]]` &threading=`0` &useGravatar=`0`]]
    <br />
    [[!If?  &subject=`[[+modx.user.id]]`  &operator=`gt`  &operand=`0`  &then=`[[!QuipReply? &thread=`[[*pagetitle]]`]]`]]

        Works great. Thanks. I forgot about the QuipReply parameters.

        Another followup question now.

        Is there a way that certain user groups are only allowed to comment?

          Not at this time, but that could be a feature request: http://github.com/splittingred/Quip/issues
