    Hi All,

    I am new here, and I am sorry if this is not the right forum to post my question!

    I am using WayFinder snippet to build the navigation menu of a web site:

    [tt]
    <div class="topnav">
    [[Wayfinder? &startId=’0’ &outerClass=menusm &hereClass=current_page_item ]]
    </div>
    [/tt]

    This is what get generated:

    [tt]
    <div class="topnav">
    <ul class="menusm">
    <li class="first current_page_item"><a href="index.php?id=1" title="Home" >Home</a></li>
    <li><a href="index.php?id=2" title="About Us" >About Us</a></li>
    <li><a href="index.php?id=3" title="Services" >Services</a></li>
    <li><a href="index.php?id=9" title="Company" >Company</a>
    <ul>
    <li class="first"><a href="index.php?id=4" title="Community" >Community Involvement</a></li>
    <li><a href="index.php?id=5" title="Quality" >Quality & Safety</a></li>
    <li><a href="index.php?id=7" title="Designations" >Designations</a></li>
    <li class="last"><a href="index.php?id=6" title="Awards" >Awards</a></li>
    </ul>
    </li>
    <li><a href="index.php?id=8" title="Careers" >Careers</a></li>
    <li class="last"><a href="index.php?id=10" title="Contact" >Contact</a></li>
    </ul>
    </div>
    [/tt]

    My issue is that highlighted href attribute in red! I don’t need to link to the top navigation item "company".. Is there any way that I can get rid of the link to the page "index.php?id=9" and replace it by "#"

    Any help is appreciated. thanks!

    Serena.

      On the resource for that page (i.e. resource #9), there is a box just before the content area which says "Show in menu". It’s probably checked. If you uncheck it, it won’t show up in your navigation.

        Hi mconsidine,

        it won’t show up in the menu and neither will the sub-menues under "Company"

        I am going to end up with somethin like this:

        <div class="topnav">
           <ul class="menusm">
              <li class="first current_page_item"><a href="index.php?id=1" title="Home" >Home</a></li>
              <li><a href="index.php?id=2" title="About Us" >About Us</a></li>
              <li><a href="index.php?id=3" title="Services" >Services</a></li>
              <li><a href="index.php?id=8" title="Careers" >Careers</a></li>
              <li class="last"><a href="index.php?id=10" title="Contact" >Contact</a></li>
           </ul>
        </div>

        That’s not what I am looking for :’(

          Ah. Of course - you are right. My mistake. smiley

          This may - or may not - be what you’re looking for either then... In the Wayfinder call there is a parameter for &parentRowTpl which defines the link to a container with childern. In one of the CSSplay demos it looks something like this
          <li><a [+wf.classes+] href="[+wf.link+]"  title="[+wf.title+]">[+wf.linktext+]</a>
              [+wf.wrapper+]
          </li>

          Removing the href will remove the link while maintaining the submenus.

          Perhaps closer to what you wanted. Sorry for the misdirection earlier.
