I have spent most of the past two days trying to figure out how to include the ability for a user to register and upload a photo of themselves, and have that photo be pulled with a placeholder within a blog post, obviously using getpage and getresources, to publish that image to a post summary and actual blog post page.

anyone know how to do this? I have already seen these two old posts,

but can’t seem to get it to work, and RTFM makes no mention of it. At RTFM there is a way to show a user’s image but only when logged in...even the tut on how to create a blog for revo makes no mention of this either, which to me seems rather necessary for a decent blog, especially one with several contributors. I know I must be missing something, as I usually do, because i seriously doubt an extra for revolution like login would simply disregard this feature when weblogin pe(I think that’s what it was called) for evo had so many seemingly useful features, but unfortunately evo is dead and this project is already 80% finished and I’d hate to move to wordpress for this project simply for something which I stupidly figured would be easy to implement in revo.

any info on this would be greatly appreciated, even just a link.. working on a project now which has more than twenty contributors.

I have looked at bob’s guide, rtfm, searched these forums over and over and over again, and googled like heck...to no avail.

    please...

p.s. and tv’s wont work because many of the contributors will not have access to the backend or use that front end extra which is available for those who wish to edit resources via the front end.
