This is the what I use for filelister to display the pdfs folder:
[[!FileLister? &fileTpl=`fileTemplate` &path=`assets/pdfs/` &toPlaceholder=`files`]]
fileTemplate looks like this:
<li>[[+link]]</li>
my resource contains this
<ol>
[[+files]]
</ol>
This outputs
<table>
<li><a href="tools.html?fd=%25C9E%25E2%...">xxxxx.pdf</a></li>
<li><a href="tools.html?fd=%25C8%253F%2...">yyyyy.pdf</a></li>
</table>
Which is what I want except for the table tags, I expected to see <ol> there.
Solved I was looking at the wrong template
