I’m moving a web site from evolution to revolution..
First I’d like to say that I think MODx is simply amazing. Still, I keep running into issues with revo, and I’m not sure whether it’s because I don’t know it well enough.
~For example, what used to be so simple in Evolution:
[[Ditto? &parents=`3` &tpl=`li.sl.latestRelease`` &depth=`2` &filter=`template,5,1` &orderBy=`releaseDate DESC` &display=`1`]]
for one, does not work in Revolution (I get a MySQL error), and its equivalent (or so I think) implementation with getResources:
[[!getResources? &tpl=`li.sl.latestRelease` &parents=`3` &depth=`2` &limit=`1` &showHidden=`1` &includeTVs=`1` &tvFilters=`template==5` &sortbyTV=`releaseDate` &sortdirTV=`DESC` &sortby=``]]
doesn’t work for me...
I’ve identified the
filter as being the probem, since when I remove it the call works.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
