How to creat a TV for menu

I have 3 templates, 1 for the main front page, 1 for the main pages with a sidebar and 1 for the main pages full width, what i want to do is have 3 different sidebars so when i add a new resource/page i can chose which sidbar to use...

i have tred to create a TV with a drop down in and in the value i put the [[*chunk_name]] of the sidebar but it doesnt work..

Crate a TV called menus, select dropdown list menu from the input type and add the following to Input Option Values and select the template to use it on via the tick boxs:



Now create 2 chunks, ( menu1 and menu2 ) and add the Wayfinder call or menu code to them.

Next add your TV call to the template where you want the menu to display:



Now when you edit / create a new document you will be able to select what menu to show on that page via the dropdown.

Hi thanks is that for Evo? im using Revo i changed it to [[*menu]] do i change the input options as well?

Yes for Revo you have to change the {{menu1}} and {{menu2}} by [[$menu1]] and [[$menu2]] the Revolution notation for chunks tags...

ok changed everything but its not working... here is what i have

TV called sidebar

Chunk 1 called sidebar_solutions
Chunk 2 called sidebar_contactus

within TV sidebar i have

Sidebar==[[$sidebar_contactus]]||Contact Us Sidebar==[[$sidebar_solutions]]

within the chunks is the code for the sidebars

then in the main template i have [[*sidebar]]

when i refresh the page at the end of the content for that page i see {{sidebar_contactus}} but i dont have the }} anywhere.
