    Hi guys.

I’m using wayfinder 2.0 on revo.

The structure of my resource tree is simple: five top level resources. One of these resources is a container for a second level, which currently holds only one resource.

I want to get Wayfinder to list all top level resources, except for the container that holds the second level.

I’ve been trying different things from the documentation on this page:
    http://muddydogpaws.com/development/wayfinder/parameters.html
... but I can’t seem to get this simple modification to work

    This lists everything:
    [[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0`!]]

This, where 3 is the id of the container, lists nothing:
    [[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &excludeDocs=`3`!]]

As usual, I’m probably just missing something simple here.
    Any idea what it is?

      Hi !
First of all you have to remove the ending exclamation mark ("!") in your WF call
      You wrote
      [[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &excludeDocs=`3`!]]

      Should be
[[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &excludeDocs=`3`]] // no ending exclamation mark when you call uncached in Revo !

May be not enough but it could helps !
      Cheers

        Hi.

I was modifying examples I’d found for my strings.
Playing with string, I discovered that if I removed both exclaimation marks, the snippet would work.

I haven’t tried removing just the final one.

        Thanks.

          Hello
If you remove both exclamation marks you call your snippet uncached (i.e with Wayfinder if you add a resource that should be shown in your menu, you’ll have to clear cache to see the effective changes...)
If you put (only) one exclamation mark at the start of you call, just after the "[[" and before the identifier (ie : ’$’ for chunks, ’*’ for TV, nothing for snippets, ’+’ for placeholders) you call them uncached...
I think if you put one exclamation mark at the start and one at the end you break the call !
New in revolution you can call everything cached or not...

          Hope this helps
          cheers
