pieX not rendering xml?

    Hi everyone,

    I want to use pieX to display the RSS feed of Twitter search i.e.: http://search.twitter.com/search.atom?q=modx

    So my snippitcall with rewritten url (cause of & ? and = characters used) would be:
    [!pieX? &url=`http://search.twitter.com/search.atom|xq|q|xe|modx` &max=`3` &header=`pieX_header` &footer=`pieX_footer` &item=`pieX_item` !]


    But somehow pieX returns 
    no item


    Im using the same call for two other RSS feeds which work like expected.
    Am i doing something wrong or is the XML from the RSS feed just not recognized by pieX or SimplePie?
