When I am in QM (through the front end obviously), everything works fine except for the "cancel" button.

I can edit, save and all that, but NOT cancel. Nothing happens when I press the cancel button, and QM stays open.

Has anyone encountered this as a bug?

    Evo 1.0.4
    QM 1.5
    Firefox 3.6.8

Nope, same versions (except recently upgraded FF to 4.0b2), and the Cancel button closes the popup.

It’s been there since I upgraded to 1.0.4 but I had ignored it at the moment and forgot about it.
I didn’t need to cancel until recently and noticed it/remembered that it was happening.
I haven’t hacked any of QM so it’s kind of strange.

        My php is 5.2.12

        MySQL 5.0.83

Could that be a MySQL issue?

Everything else has worked fine for on Evo so far.

More likely a javascript issue. Are you getting any javascript errors?

I am using Maxigallery on almost all pages with smoothgallery.
The one page that I am not using it on is the "About" page and it happens there as well.
How would one check for errors? sorry if that’s a basic question.

Here is the code for my about page (http://www.markojokic.com/index.php?id=11):

            <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

            <link rel="stylesheet" href="assets/templates/markotemplates/marko.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />

In your Firefox menu, go to Tools -> Error console and click the Errors button.

I get these errors. I don’t understand the google one since I have put nothing of the sort on my site.

                With QuickManager open for editing:

                Error: parent.$j.fn.colorbox is undefined
                Source File: http://www.markojokic.com/manager/index.php?a=27&id=11&quickmanager=1
                Line: 1

                Error: invalid XML attribute value
                Source File: http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js
                Line: 1, Column: 9
                Source Code:
                <p class=MsoNormal align=center style=’mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:

With QM closed, but still logged in as manager:

                Error: jQuery is not defined
                Source File: http://www.markojokic.com/assets/plugins/qm/js/jquery.colorbox-min.js

That means somebody’s been pasting from Word, or some other Microsoft Office program, and goodness only knows what-all is in there. Obviously it’s trying to access something to do with Google Ads.

But the significant error is the one about colorbox being undefined. That’s the overlay box QM uses, so there’s a problem with the installation or a conflict with the colorbox .js file that Qm loads. The last two are because without QM loading, nobody is loading the main jquery library.

I re-uploaded the colorbox.js file from a fresh download of Evo 1.0.4 but didn’t have any luck.

What is the method for reinstalling QM entirely and only?

It’s a plugin, so you would just replace the files in the assets/plugins/qm folder.

I don’t think that’s your problem, though. I think something is conflicting with QM. Try setting up a resource using the same template but with minimal text in the content. In other words, get rid of any other snippets or anything else that adds javascript to the page.
