I just remark this "bug" (?).
Results are well displayed excepted chunks ...
If I search for a word, the extract result show me an "extraction" of the text where the word is. If this text contains some chunks (with basic html) these chunks are not displayed in the "extract" result...
Hope I’m enough clear on this, and sorry for my poor english...

sorry to bump such an old thread, but I’ve just realised this too.
Is this just a limitation of simpleSearch?
to clarify:
put some text in a chunk so it can be reused on multiple pages.
search for that text... and
it doesn’t show in the search results
I’ve read the docs on simplesearch, can’t see anything relevant though,

It’s not a bug, actually SimpleSearch does not search dynamic content...
It could be a request for the next versions
