Page hit counter doesn't work

page hit counter doesn’t work in 1.0.4 it hangs at "MODx is loading the page"
what should i do?

You may want to comment the module (PageHitCounter.module.php) line 261 :

Good luck

thanks!

I have the same problem, but what should I do exactly to fix this? What means "to comment"?

Commenting meaned to "disable" the line, make it a comment in a "programmatical" way.
To be sure, just delete this line and it should be fine (according it’s still working under Evo 1.0.5)

Best luck
