Dynamically get height of an image from a TV

Hi there,

I’m calling a few images onto a page, and because I don’t know the height of an image, I’ve just put the width into the template. Most of the time this works fine, but I’m getting a weird error occurring sometimes when only about 20px of an image thats much bigger shows, so I figure I need to define the height. Thing is, as I’ve said, I don’t know what height the image will be.

Is there a snippet that can get the height of an image that I can use?

I’ve had a search through the forums and found http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,26543.msg161558.html#msg161558 which is close, but I’m not sure how to implement it.

I also need it to work for several images, as I’m not sure how many images the TVs will call (could be 1, 2 or 3.)

That looks like exactly what I need. However, when I try to implement it, I just get a blank page on the page with the Image TVs on. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?!

have you got PHX installed? ( btw. if you’re using it within a Ditto template you don’t need to install phx )
