index.php?a=122 in a module what is "a"?

If a module wants to link to itself you use

index.php?a=122&id=[moduleId]

What is a?
Is it always 112?

The "a=XX" is the switch which tells the manager/index.php which action to perform. Have a look at the manager/index.php file for all the actions

Ah ha "a" is for $action

Ok, right there it is in manager/index.php

So it will always be 112 for my version of modx (1.0.4)

The action values haven’t changed except over the years to add new ones as new features were added to the Manager. Now, however, with modules and plugins, it’s doubtful that any more will be added.
