    Hi,

    I meet an issue I can’t understand.

    After having a lot of trouble with the phx:phpthumb modifier, I just test some direct call to phpthumb in the url.
    using:
    http://domain.com/image.php

    Returns an "error image", telling there’s no parameter, indicating the image.php is running well

    using:
    http://domain.com/image.php?src=/assets/templates/TPL4/images/fond-page.jpg

    With no parameters except the filename, returns the image itself, untouched, meaning the php found it.

    but using at least one resize parameter, like this:
    http://domain.com/image.php?src=/assets/templates/TPL4/images/fond-page.jpg&w=366

    this gave the same bad result : site is no more responding, page will be in a loading state forever and even my modx admin console in another tab won’t work anymore.

    Also I see in the cache folder a new file is being created, but with no .ext and a 0kb size.

    Php is 5.2 GD is load, cache folder is 777.

    Really puzzling

    Thank you

      not sure which phpthumb integration you use, but try this one:
      http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,41309.msg248604.html#msg248604
      with the phpThumb package from here (1.7.9) http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpthumb/files/phpThumb%28%29/

        hmmm. I use the one from modX repository.

        I’ll check the reference you gave and retry this week.

        Thnk you

        EDIT1
        This native phpthumb seams to work (I’ve only quickly tested passing url parameters)

        EDIT2
        Hmm but using this native phpthumb, won’t give the associated plugin to manage images through RTE isn’t it ? (like direct resize)

          Hi I’m back on this phpthumb integration.

          I’m really puzzled by the options : how to coorectly tells the the path of the image to be processed by phpthumb.

          As said before I’m trying the "real" phpthumb" instead of the modifed one for Evo gallery (not working for me)

          So I setup up the things from :
          not sure which phpthumb integration you use, but try this one:
          http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,41309.msg248604.html#msg248604
          with the phpThumb package from here (1.7.9) http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpthumb/files/phpThumb%28%29/
          Phpthumb works well passing parameters into the url, but calling it through Evo gallery calls gives some path to image mess.

          Here’s my call:
          <li>
          <div class="slide_block">
          <a class="full_slide titleized" href="[+images_dir+][+filename+]" rel="fancyslide" title="vue de : [+title:isnot=``:then=`[+title+]`:else=` -`+]"></a>
          <img src="[+filename:phpthumb=`&h=100&w=100&zc=1&q=95#[+images_dir+]`+]" alt="[+title:isnot=``:then=`[+title+]`:else=`no alt`+]" title="vue de : [+title:isnot=``:then=`[+title+]`:else=` -`+]"/>
          </div>

          problem is [+image_dir+] is not correctly interpreted(?) , but it is right - assets/galleries/1/ - (? ) and image is finally not found
          returns this:
          <img title="vue de : blbla" alt="Accueil bla bla" src="/assets/snippets/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=snap-image.jpg&h=100&w=100&zc=1&q=95#/assets/galleries/1/">
          </li>

          wich looks good but result is :
          see attachment plz.

          Where am I wrong

          thank you

            Done.

            Path was not managed by the Evogal call.
            A new Pl was needed,
