I don’t understand what it is you want to do. For a tagging system, the TV itself is the tag. Ditto filters on the TV’s content, so all resources with a given value in their TV will be selected.

        What "default" documentTags TV?

For Evo, you have to hack some of the core files, and manually reapply those hacks with each upgrade, or you have to create a plugin. Revo supports custom TVs, as detailed in the docs:

I’ve been playing with that modified version of Evo that has custom TVs, and I’m impressed. Is anybody on the dev team looking into this for possible inclusion in future releases?

Not yet; right now all I have is the sample popup window that it comes with. It doesn’t really do anything, just shows the interface. On my site, if you look at a TV and check the type select drop-down, you’ll see the new custom type at the bottom. For every TV you create in the assets/tvs folder you’ll get a new option. Then check the home page or one of the other resources, and you’ll see the bare-bones link for it (it’s the one with the link for Choose/Reorder FAQ).

The point is that you write your custom TV to work with AJAX from that popup window; it can be any kind of form for input you want, including one of the Flash-based multi-file upload scripts like Uploadify. Or a drag-and-drop javascript re-ordering function. Whatever you want. The code goes in the assets/tvs folder, like a snippet or plugin.

You’ll like it; it’s all object oriented, and you just extend the base class for your own custom version.

That sounds like an ideal solution Susan that has been batted around for ages. Would love to see the code when done/ready. Github maybe?
