Sorry if this is a stupid question!

When using Wayfinder to build a site’s navigation menu, is it possible to build the menu based on the user’s permissions. E.g. if a public user visits the site and is not logged in, they only see the public pages listed in the menu, but once a user logs in, the menu displays all the pages the user has permissions to access?

    Thank you!

That’s what Security -> Web Permissions and Security -> Web Users is for.

Create a web user group and a resource group and connect them in the three tabs in Web Permissions.

Create/edit your web users and assign them to the web user groups you created.

Assign the "private" resources to the resource group you created (when creating or editing a resource).

Now Wayfinder will determine the visitor’s status and group membership and only display the links to pages he as permissions to access.
