    Greetings all!

    Forgive me if I’m asking something obvious, but I’m having trouble getting the Textile plugin to work on a WAMP system that otherwise runs Modx fine.

    I’ve put the contents of the .tpl file into the module code box and turned off the wysiwyg editor. But there’s no System Events tab showing on the plugin settings page so that I can turn on OnWebPagePrerender.

    Regardless of the above I’ve put the following sample code on a test page:

    <textile>
    h1. Test heading

    </textile>

    Anyway it doesn’t work. Any assistance will be much appreciated.

    Regards to all,

    Piscator

      Well, the "module code box" is not where you need to paste the plugin code. Plugins are not the same as modules.

      Plugins can be created by going to (from within the Manager): Manage Elements -> Plugins -> New Plugin

      Besides that, it could well be a code problem, but without knowing what code you have I can’t advise any further on that - feel free to paste code here though for advice on code problems.

        Thanks for the reply Garryn.

        By the "module code box" I simply meant the form on the New Plugin page for adding the code for the plugin. According to the instructions for the plugin I understood that there should have been a tab on the New Plugin page for setting System Events, in this case: OnWebPagePrerender.

        So my problem could be due to not finding the missing tab and setting it. Perhaps the tab was removed from later versions of Evolution. However, there likely may be something else obvious that I’ve missed smiley

          When creating/editing a plugin, there are three tabs: General, Configuration and System Events. It is the System Events tab you use for indicating which events the plugin uses.
