I hope someone can help...
I’m using the Quill snippet (in Evo 1.0.2) in order to create a TV dropdown list of documents and bind them to another document. The dropdown list works great using the following Input Option Values:
@EVAL return $modx->runSnippet("Quill",array(’parent’=>’book-excerpts’));
I’m also able to use the TV within a Chunk in order to create a link to the respective documents chosen from the dropdown. The anchor links also work fine except for one small glitch... instead of Quill producing a pretty URL using the document alias it renders the document ID instead, producing a rather SEO unfriendly and ugly URL to boot.
Has anyone used Quill and experienced this? Might it be incompatible with Evo 1.0.2? Or the more likely scenario, could it be a user error?
I realize I’m probably being somewhat vague. I’ll be happy to provide as much info as needed to resolve this issue.
If there’s a better solution than Quill, such as using a @SELECT binding, I’m all for it. Though I’ve looked extensively and can’t find a solution that works for me. Quill seemed like that perfect snippet.
Thanks ahead of time for anyone who can provide some insight.
