ok two language site, I have already looked at this
http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,29597.msg179898.html#msg179898
and my head is aching, but I did a multilingual site in about one hour fairly simple, in total 100documents...I understand the above to a certain point, but is it just to ensure the error pages, and mail forms are in correct lanuages, not sure, but for example, I duplicated eform and via the template, worked it out, perhaps the "nombre" field will output "name" on the email, but for what I am doing it seems like a huge, huge hassle. but there is one thing which does make me think I may have to go back to above link

....
the tree looks like this:
1 redirect=id
english home page
2 redirect=id
spanish home page
they are duplicates of course, everything is fine wayfinder, templates, mail, login (using templates)
the problem is this, I have client pages in both which are restricted to members only, I have a weblink button in the menu to point at them and when someone clicks on it it immediately asks the user to log in, ok no problem, the thing is that it goes to [*loginname*] page in the english tree.
I figured since the parent was a redirect back to the spanish tree, I could just duplicate the weblogin page, but no go. of course I could set modx to show protected resources and it would show the link once someone logged in, but I want people to see that there exists a special client area even before they join....hope this makes sense...if there is one question to the many stupid ones I have posted that needs an answer this is it (awwww who am I kidding, that’s a blatant lie, I’ll be back in an hour asking another question for sure

).
essentially I want to be able to have two separate login forms, one for the english area and the other for the spanish area, where those going to protected areas within those groups goes to the correct form....is there a relatively easy solution or will I have to employ Aceman’s snippet ?!? I could also set up another template for the form which contains both languages but that just looks plain cheesy: name/nombre you get the gist.
