I have used Modx 9.6.3 and Evo 1.0 in the past and have never come across this problem until now. When I edit the html or code of any given item (snippets,chunks, or templates), it used to highlight the syntax with colors for tags and such. For some reason now it just looks like plain text.. black and helvetica or something.
Does anyone know if I need another plugin? Or can someone redirect me to the answer?

Ok, I believe it to be the EditArea plugin... Here is its general function..."Allows text formatting, search and replace and real-time syntax highlighting"... On the other sites that I used Modx with, it gave me an option below the content box that said "Toggle Editor"... But now for some reason it wont give me anything even after I have created this plugin... Frustrating to say the least...
