I’m no closer to working this one out...
My twitter feed returned for a good hour or so, and has now vanished again.
I have switched debugging on both feeds.
Debug for twitter, under feed data says:
Rate limit exceeded. Clients may not make more than 150 requests per hour.
I tried changing the feed to another persons twitter feed (thats if I have made 150 requests per hour - but im sure i haven’t + my feed should be getting cached set to 3600), and I still get the same message in the debug info (as above).
Debug for delicious, under feed data says:
Yahoo! - 999 Unable to process request at this time -- error 999
After reading the FeedX setup post
http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,12657.0.html it looks like nobody has created a delicious feed yet. This has confused me as I copied the twitter, template, made some modifications, and my delicious feed showed up on my local web server! But has not been working at all on my live website.
For sanity, here are my snippet calls:
Twitter Feed
[!FeedX? &url=`http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/myname.rss|xq|count|xe|2` &preset=`twitter` &cacheTime=`3600`!]
item.tpl
<article>
<p class="posted"><a href="[+LINK+]" title="[+DESCRIPTION:twitterstrip+]">[+PUBDATE:twitterdate+]</a></p>
<p><a href="[+LINK+]" title="[+DESCRIPTION:twitterstrip+]">[+DESCRIPTION:twitterstrip+]</a></p>
</article>
<div class="clear"></div>
inner.tpl
channel.tpl
outer.tpl
Delicious
[!FeedX? &url=`http://feeds.delicious.com/v2/rss/myname|xq|count|xe|3` &preset=`delicious` &cacheTime=`3600` &debug=`1`!]
The delicious preset is a copy of the twitter folder config from
http://www.muddydogpaws.com/notebook/how-to-add-a-custom-twitter-status-to-modx.html (you can see an example of this above). My delicious feed was working on my local web server.
I have tried calling the snippet with [[ ]] rather than single [ ] - makes no difference. Also tried, clearing sitewide cache.
What really confuses me is that Last.fm / Flickr presets are showing up fine.
Can anybody help point out the obvious, or point me in the right direction?
Thanks
