Process a chunk from a snippet

Hello,

To process (call) a chunk from a snippet i found an example in modx docs here :

http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/revolution/Chunks#Chunks-ProcessingChunkviatheAPI

But when i use it i’ve this error :

Fatal error: Call to undefined method DocumentParser::getCollection() in E:\WAMP\www\...\modx-1-0-2\manager\includes\document.parser.class.inc.php(770) : eval()’d code on line 1

i don’t know if i need to include somthing before this code.
help please !!!

Hamza

but when i use only this :

php displays this error :
Fatal error: Call to a member function process() on a non-object in E:\WAMP\www\...\modx-1-0-2\manager\includes\document.parser.class.inc.php(770) : eval()’d code on line 6

is there some one who knows a solution ?

Hamza

The manual link you posted is for MODx Revolution, but you seem to have Evolution installed (1.0.2).

Try this instead: http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/API:parseChunk

i think i found the problem, this document uses a 2.0 version and i use 1.2

In Revolution, there would be nothing to process(...) here ?
Anyway in Evolution just leave this line out. Just try to return $chunk or print $chunk or so.
