I wonder if it is a server-side problem, because I had it half-working on a free hosting server. It sent for a while comments to the moderator, but never "approved" emails. No it doesn’t work at all. And still don’t understand why Formit sends emails without any rpoblem and Quip doesn’t....

We may have to just wait until they get to the bug report.

      http://bugs.modx.com/issues/4395

I had it working a little bit too. But I think it was because I was using the version before Quip 2.0.0 (I’m on Quip 2.0.1 now, it’s still not working, and I never tried Quip 2.0.0).
You may or may not want to use the code I write. It's probably all against the syntax rules of php and MODx. smiley

We’re probably going to have to wait until they get the bug fixed. I don’t think it is something we are doing wrong, it might be, but I don’t think so. I think it is a bug. Since it has been reported, we just need to wait now.

It seems like nobody bothers with this issue...
Does everyone have the Quip working without any problem?

              Hi All,

I’ve just tried getting Quip working and it did - even though I haven’t tested it fully.

              My code:
              [[!Quip? &amp;thread=`threadNameHere` &threading=`0`]]</code>
              [[!QuipReply? &amp;thread=`threadNameHere` &moderate=`1`]]</code>

As for the moderation of comments, I was able to get this working, but I just used a different browser that was not logged in to the admin manager and the comment showed up as not approved.
I haven’t tried the emails yet. that is for tomorrow...

              I’m using the following:
              ModxRev 2.1.1-pl (traditional)
              Quip 2.0.4. rc1

I also have the following installed too: (probably unrelated)
              formit 1.6.0 rc1
              gallery 1.2.0pl
              tinymce 4.3.0 rc1
              wayfinder 2.3.1 pl

              Cheers,
              Steve
