link and img - path

When I make a link ore insert a img with the FCKeditor everything is okay. BUT the second I hit the save-button the path (URL) to the link ore img change to "\"

like: <a href=\"\\\">txt</a>

Can´t the site is one a public server ..... but I have used this webhost a lot of times with no problems

Every time i save (and not using the editor!) MODx are printing more ad more \\\\

<a href=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"assets/files/sept09_web.pdf\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\">txt</a>

Pleas help

i still think this magic_quotes related -> my post above

But I have used this webhost many times before with no problems ?
