I’m using MaxiGallery to put pictures on my pages, but I have a multilanguage system so the documents have to be duplicated with the same pictures.
If I duplicate a document with a Gallery the pictures are gone, because it takes the pictures from a folder according to the document-id.
To put a gallery on the page I use a chunk {{gallery}} with the MaxiGallery call:
[!MaxiGallery? &galleryOuterTpl=`galleryOuterTpl_BBT` &galleryPictureTpl=`galleryPicture_BBT` &embedtype=`external` &max_pic_size=`640` &max_thumb_size=`300`!]
I tried to add a template variable (gallery-id) with the document-id of the original gallery and add this to the Maxigallery call:
&gal_query_ids=’[*gallery-id*]’
It works, but then the managebutton is gone, so I can’t manage the gallery at the front end.
Does anyone have another idea?
