Hi
On my MODx 1.0 installation, there are no text labels on the buttons in QuickManager.
The buttons are there, but there’s no text saying what they do (ie: Edit page, Log in, Log out etc).
When I look at the code, each button is basically an empty <a></a> tag.
I’ve upgraded to QuickManager+ 1.3 from the default QM+ 1.1, but still they’re blank.
Any idea what’s going wrong?
Nick
Ps: As an aside, I much preferred what I saw of QuickEdit. It was much more discreet and moveable on screen, and seemed to have more control options.

I am guessing that there are issues with the language files causing the blank labels. Make sure your language files are intact and readable. You may also want to view source to see if there are php errors showing up in their. You may also check to make sure your language is correct in the manager.

Hi smashingred
Ooh, thanks for getting back to me. The problem was indeed with the languages. I’d set it to ’english-british’ (as I’m in the UK). I guess there’s no British label text set up in MODx yet! Hmm, where can I submit a bug report?...
Setting the language to ’english’ solved the problem.
Now, I hope it doesn’t mind my users spelling colour instead of color etc...
All the best

There should be a fallback to English if the languages are missing. Please file a report in JIRA. Thanks!
