    The NewsEditor is working in that it creates or updates and existing post; however, it does not save to my content folder. It saves only to the root directory. Please help.

      Do you mean NewsManager? It’s not clear at all what you mean, but the NewsManager "Extra" available for MODx should accept a parameter to set the parent Resource where a post should be added.

        No, I actually do mean NewsEditor which works with NewsManager. I have the NewsEditor pointing to my articles folder (#14), but it creates the new entry at the root everytime. I implemented a similar form for blog entries using NewsPublisher. I may have to look at that scenario and switch to NewsPublisher.

        Snippet Name: NewsEditor
        * Based on: NewsPublisher
        * Short Desc: Create or edit articles directly from front end (news, blogs, PR, etc.)

          I found NewsManager version 1.3.3 as the latest at Extras and the first parameter listed in the snippet is &folder - folder id where documents are stored. It’s likely the same in the version you are using, but if not you could always update to this version.
