Looking for a "scrolling news" functionnality

Hi,

I’m looking for some snippet/plugin to simply get an extract from each page under a given parent (ditto cold do this part) , inject one extract into a div, do the same for the next one, make those div scroll (up/down/left or right) with a link to the concerned [~id~].

Doea some one has saw such thing already in MODx
usage : scrolling news for instance.

(actually the same as mod_scrollnews2 from Joomla)

You could use WayFinder for this... just change your formatting templates so that each result is wrapped with a div tag. You can say you want only the items who have a certain parent, and you can set the depth. The rest of the scrolling stuff is just a matter of JavaScript/CSS... if you include the right js files and stylesheet on the template(s) displaying these special divs, then you should get the result you want.

It’s a kind of lazyness and "wisdom" who makes me looking for already existing solution (as you said, it’s just a matter of JS, but... it’s a big matter)

It was pretty easy to setup and has shown to be quite flexible.
