so would that new plugin code replace the current plugin code for Template Switcher then?

Yes. Instead of using a cookie or the $_GET (from the URL) you’re using $_POST.

If this were going to get used a lot, instead of just being set up once, we would put these template names in the plugin’s configuration, where it’s a lot easier to change them.
Susan,
Thanks so much for helping me out on this - but it still is not working... Perhaps the Mobile Template Switcher code is making it not happen correctly? When I switch to simulate being on a mobile the mobile template delivers me the little form with the button to click to switch the mobile cookie off so that the pages should all be dressed as normal but it does nothing... It just refreshes the page still clad in the mobile template...
Any thoughts as to what might be happening? The mobile detection plugin contains some of your TemplateSwitcher code... Would there be a conflict?
Hi Susan,
Thanks for your help so far - Are you around to help me out try and get a solution to this?
I am still strugling on how to set a cookie to override the ’force template change to mobile’ when user is on a handheld device...
Many thanks!
