[solved] QuickEdit Won't Go Away

I’ve disabled the QuickEdit module.

I’ve disabled the QuickEdit plugin.

I’ve logged out of the manager and logged in, cleared my browser cache, and even viewed my site in another browser while being logged out of the manager, and I still get QuickEdit links scattered throughout my site page, even when logged out. But the links aren’t formatted as the typical silver QuickEdit buttons. They’re just text links that when clicked, pop up a window telling me the module has been disabled. How do I get rid of these QuickEdit text links?

Have you cleared the site cache?

I did clear the site cache and that didn’t work. BUT funny enough, that led me to checking some of my chunks and I still had the # sign inserted for QuickEdit within my chunks.

So for example I changed [+#title+] back to [+title+] and now any reference to QuickEdit is gone!
