Hi, it’s been awhile since I started testing out eForm, it doesn’t show any errors except that it doesn’t send emails, I tried to find some topics on the net but didn’t found anything that works for me, and maybe this forum might help me.
Here’s my snippet call
[!eForm? &to=`[email protected]`&from=`Company Name`&formid=`contact_form`&tpl=`eForm_form`&subject=`A Customer Wants To Contact Us`&report=`eForm_email`&gotoid=`27`!]
I just added the gotoid, which points to same id of the document that contains this snippet call(just saw and tried it out from a thread I saw). with or without it, it doesn’t send email.
Just saw the following two chunks on the examples on the eForm Documentation
here is the {{eForm_form}}
<p class="error">[+validationmessage+]</p>
<form method="post" action="[~[*id*]~]" id="EmailForm">
<fieldset>
<h3> Contact Us</h3>
<input name="formid" type="hidden" value="ContactForm" />
<label for="cfName">Your name:
<p><input name="name" id="cfName" class="text" type="text" eform="Your Name::1:" /></p></label>
<label for="cfEmail">Your Email Address:
<p><input name="email" id="cfEmail" class="text" type="text" eform="Email Address:email:1" /></p> </label>
<label for="cfRegarding">Regarding:
<p><input name="subject" id="cfRegarding" class="text" type="text" eform="Form Subject::1" /></p> </label>
<label for="cfMessage">Message:
<p><textarea name="message" id="cfMessage" eform="Message:textarea:1"></textarea></p>
</label>
<label> </label><p><input type="submit" name="contact" id="cfContact" class="button" value="Send This Message" /></p>
</fieldset>
</form>
And here is the {{eForm_email}}
<p>A new message was sent by one of our visitors, <b>[+name+]</b>, The details is shown below:</p>
<p<><b>Name:</b> [+name+] <b>Email:</b> [+email+]</p>
<h1 style="font:100 small-caps 18px Times;">Regarding: [+subject+]</h1>
<p><b>Message:</b><br />[+message+]</p>
<p>You can use this link to reply: <a href="mailto:[+email+]?subject=RE: [+subject+]">[+email+]</a></p>
Is there anything wrong with these snippet call/chunks? Thanks in advance
