    OK FIXED IT NOW!

Problem it seems is that for the Image TV preview to work, you cannot use TV name seperated by dash i.e. [*header-image*]
You can use an underscore though!

Weird little issue that took way more effort than was actually needed to fix... hope this helps anyone else with the same issue.

Which version of MODx are you running in? For Evo RC in subversion with the new plugin, the names are not used at all and it shouldn’t matter.

        I TAKE THAT BACK

This has only fixed the issue in EVO...

Still no Image TV Preview in 0.9.6.3

        Any Ideas?

          I now have 2 versions of the site running on 1.0.0-RC1(rev 5122) & on 0.9.6.3 (rev 4565)

I have fixed the image TV preview for RC1 by using an underscore instead of a dash in the TV name.

But the issue is still present on 0.9.6.3 and is not resolved....

I tried using the code above for the Image TV Preview that you posted above and it has stopped the image previews working on RC1.

Could you post the original code for Image TV Preview (1.2.0.4), as I foolishly didn’t save it....

            Thanks

Update... I have now been able to get it to work on 0.9.6.3 using ManagerManager and by making sure that there are no symbols in the Image TV name.

So instead of calling the Image TV [*header-img*] , I have renamed it to [*headerimg*] and it works!!!!

Pretty bloody annoying if you ask me.
Any chance you could fix this, so that my TV names won’t start to look really messy?

Won’t be using RC1, as I couldn’t get ManagerManager to work with it.... but I like the carbon theme... it looks very nice.
(any chance you could make Carbon manager theme work for earlier versions?)

What a way to waste a day!!!! smiley

The Carbon Theme for Evo is a work in progress and anyone that wants to will be more than welcome to back-port it to 0963, though I doubt that will happen due to the structural markup changes in the Evo Manager. It’s entirely possible, but just plain tedious.

Manager Manager will need the same minor updates as the Image Preview to work, which are straightforward. Then your TV names won’t matter for things like that, as they’ll be based off the unique IDs stored in the DB and show in parenthesis next to each Template and TV name.
