I’m attempting to get the NewsManager snippet to work, but when I call it (uncached or cached) from a template or a document, nothing appears. Looking at the source code, it’s as if the snippet was never there, but it’s definitely in all the right places, as far as I can see. I have followed all the instructions with the download, twice, both times from scratch, with the same result.

I’m sure this is a simple problem, but I just can’t see it. Help!

Could you cut and paste your NewsManager snippet call into a message so we can take a look at it?

        Certainly can.

        [!NewsManager? &folder=`52` &editformid=`74` !]

It doesn’t appear in the source code at all, but if I stick some text in next to it, the text will appear.

Actually, nothing that I type into the page appears on the screen - only the title within the template. It seems that even when typing the page number directly into the URL, it only displays the template stuff and nothing more.

When I add a working snippet to the template, the working snippet displays. So, I guess it must be something to do with the snippets themselves. Instructions said to just copy and paste the two snippets so I don’t see what I’ve got wrong. Any ideas?

Don’t worry about it - I sorted it out. The call from the template had a typo.
