I’ve stared and stared at:
http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/PieX for the use of SimplePie in Modx and can’t find what I’m looking for.
The snippet works fine for single sites but my understanding of SimplePie is that it is great at aggregating multiple feeds together. I can’t see any mention of this anywhere in the documentation. It works fine for a single feed but how can I aggregate a number of feeds into one?
Is that what the "Extending the SimplePie Class" is at the end? Does this imply I have to create a database/ document with a delimited list of websites and then write another snippet to loop through them or am I missing something incredibly trivial. Writing a snippet to do this doesn’t look that hard having looked at the SimplePie video I just wondered if there is an easier way.
