Hello,
I have installed ModX on my Webspace because my customers Webspace has no MySQL.
So I have to redirect the Domain to my Webspace ("www.my-domain.com/folder")...
So far it works well, but the domain looks ugly ( "www.my-domain.com/folder/index.php?id=1" ).
I activated the feature (in the control panel of the new-domain), that the name of the domain do not change, so I have
"www.new-domain.com/index.php?id=1", it works in general.
But with this QuickEdit does not work, it even does not appear.
And Maxi Gallery doesn’t work, either. The Links to childgallerys are set to "www.new-domain.com/folder/index.php?id=23".
I hope you understand my problem and have an idea to fix this.

Just out of curiosity, did you consider installing MODx on your client’s webserver, using a database from yours? The database_server doesn’t have to be local; in fact I’ve had more than one installation using a different server for their database access.
I never thought about that...
How could I do this?
Just installing ModX and when it asks for the Database, what should I type in?

In the Database Host field, put the hostname of your database server.
Ok thanks, i solved the Problem.
I only entered the Server name in the config.inc.php
