I’ve installed pieX and it appears to be working fine. My only concern is that in Reports / System Events/ Event Log I’m accruing pages upon pages of the following error with respect to pieX ... ’Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated’. I continue to delete the log entries but the obsessive side of me would love to eliminate this problem--although it doesn’t appear to affect pieX functionality. At least not that I’ve noticed. I’ve dug through the forums, looked deeper into the snippet and associated files but I’m not a developer so I’m blindly stumbling along. Any help would really be appreciated.
Thanks!
Further research says that it’s a PHP 5 specific issue. So would Simple Pie for MODx need to be adjusted to accommodate this?
