Trying to get a xml feed to work...

    Example:

+propertyIdMask+]]

    outputs as:

<![CDATAatnw4446]> (note: No [ after CDATA)

    Any tags like this-
ID:[+propertyIdMask+]]]
output as
ID: atnw4446]
(supposedly correct according to the example given by the feed recipient)

    Using Evolution 1.0.3

    So firstly, why is this happening? And secondly, what do I need to do or tell my webguy to do to fix it?

    I’m a total novice so please go easy wink Thanks in advance for your kind help!

      [+propertyIdMask+] is interpreted as a placeholder tag and is replaced by atnw4446 (the value set for that placeholder). You’d need another [ if you want one there and another extra closing ] after the placeholder. Also, the CDATA closing ]] must be on a separate line with no leading spaces:

      [+propertyIdMask+]
      ]]
