Well I’m a newbie in MODx. But I’m trying to learn it well.
I want to use wayfinder to display main menu and submenus in different places.
For an example

Home Products Services

Sub-menus for each menus as tabs

Do I need to get inside snippet wayfinder
Saw wayfinder objects got really confused...though it was short. lol
For this you would use 2 instances of wayfinder, one for the main menu and a second for the sub-menu. Look into the UltimateParent snippet (installed with the default snippets) to aid in automatically determining the parend ID for the sub-menu.
The listchild was good.
I was also looking in forums myself.
I found ultimate parent... I have already implemented.

For the top horizontal menu: [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &outerTpl=`menuContainer` &outerClass=`nav` &level=`1`]]
For the sub horizontal menu that is under the first: [!Wayfinder? &startId=`[[UltimateParent]]` &outerTpl=`innerContainer` &outerClass=`nav`!]

I was googling around to find good tutorials on building snippets(like wayfinder..etc) or even modules.
Would like to be professional in MODx lol
As I have already told... I went through wayfinder.
I found it uses classes n stuffs... I have idea about OOP... but I got confused the way it works
