Getting row number with Wayfinder (or Ditto)

I am looking for a way to get a sequential number, such as a row number, (starting with 0) and print it into the output from a Wayfinder (or--if that’s not possible--a Ditto) call.

I can’t seem to find a way to do that. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I’m not aware of any such mechanism for Wayfinder. Ditto, however, has the "ditto_iteration" placeholder, which does exactly what you’re looking for.

"ditto_iteration" works perfectly for what I need. What I’m working through is an integration of JonDesign’s SmoothGallery and a way to highlight a certain image with a link outside of the gallery. Now complete.

&rowIdPrefix only adds a prefix to the document’s id - not exactly the same as sequential numbering.
