    Hi,

    I have problems to back up my file and db system with this tool.
    if i try to backup my file system with cofig parameter mysql = 1 for only backing up my file system.
    i get this error message: FileList::FileList - ERROR: invalid directory value in config

    So here is my config file from the backup folder:

    site_url = http://localhost/budokan/
    base_path = /budokan/
    bkup_dir = backup/
    archive_dir = /budokan/backup/archive/
    archive_name = budokan_backup
    seconds = 180
    megabytes = 128

    // ==================================================
    // DIRECTORIES
    // ==================================================

    dir0 = /budokan/assets/templates/yaml/css/,true

    ******************************************************************************************

    If i try to back up both with mysql = 2
    i got this error:
    Start MySQL dump create
    Warning: fopen(/budokan//budokan/backup/archive/budokan_20090312_183124.sql) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\budokan\backup\model_mysql_dump.class.php on line 20
    MySQLDump::exportMySQLDump - ERROR: could not open MySQL dump file

    here is the cofig file with the parameters:

    mysql = 2
    host = localhost
    user = ######
    pass = #####

    dbase1 = budokan

    so whats wrong?
    can anybody give me a hint?

      Try to change in config file:
      archive_dir = /budokan/backup/archive/
      to:
      archive_dir = backup/archive/

      Because:
      Warning: fopen(/budokan//budokan/backup/archive/budokan_20090312_183124.sql)

        Hi thx for your hint,

        but after this change i get this error message again without a double slash but still the same error.

        Start MySQL dump create
        Warning: fopen(/budokan/backup/archive/budokan_20090312_185511.sql) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\budokan\backup\model_mysql_dump.class.php on line 20
        MySQLDump::exportMySQLDump - ERROR: could not open MySQL dump file

          smiley

          I found another 2 errors.

          No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\budokan\backup\model_mysql_dump.class.php on line 20

          it’s means that your base_dir really not in path /budokan/
          base_path    = /budokan/
          dir0 = /budokan/assets/templates/yaml/css/,true

          need to be correct to:

          base_dir = C:\xampp\htdocs\budokan\
          dir0 = C:\xampp\htdocs\budokan\assets\templates\yaml\css\,true

          Sorry for bad english.

            Hi thank you very much!!
            the error was indeed the wrong pathes.
            the backup was successfully, but why will the mysql created and than deleted?
            however the mysql dump is not there.
            what can i do to keep it?

            Start MySQL dump create . . . budokan_20090312_210435.sql Size: 404753 (395KB) . . . Finish MySQL dump create.

            Start file list . . . File count: 21 . . . Finish file list.

            Start zip archive . . . budokan_ModxBackup_20090312_210435.zip Size: 21392 (21KB) . . . Finish zip archive.

            Start MySQL dump delete . . . budokan_20090312_210435.sql Size: 404753 (395KB) . . . Finish MySQL dump delete.

            PHP Version >= 5.2.0 - Peak memory usage: 786432 (768KB)

              Only 21 files in the backup?  The sql dump file is written to the archive_dir directory. Make sure that directory is in one of your directory paths.  The sql dump file is deleted from the hard drive after the zip file is created to save space.

                  It’s a path thing. Try adding a second another path:

                  // ==================================================
                  // DIRECTORIES
                  // ==================================================

                  dir0 = C:\xampp\htdocs\budokan\assets\templates\yaml\css\,true
                  dir1 = C:\xampp\htdocs\budokan\backup\archive\,false
