Good day, tell please, how to realise the following:

- the Catalogue

-- Clubs (30)

I.e. that near to the subparagraph of the menu the Catalogue the number of enclosed articles was automatically added? Thanks.

p.s. Is available in a site, the catalogue is deduced through Ditto

In Ditto I think you will need to do a custom snippet or PHx modifier to do the counting (not sure but there may be something ready for this).

Wayfinder has a built in function for this:

&showSubDocCount
    default: FALSE
    values: [ TRUE | FALSE ]
    description: The showSubDocCount parameter, if set to TRUE, will insert the number of documents in each folder into the placeholder [+wf.subitemcount+]

I think TvTagCloud snippet has that ability.

<?php
$docId = $modx->documentIdentifier;
$children = $modx->getDocumentChildren($docId);

return "(".count($children).")";
?>

This will return the number of children. Put it in a snippet and add it to your Ditto tpl:

[+pagetitle+] [[countChildren]]

and it will return pagetitle (12).

Hope this helps.
