FoxyCart+ModX+FC Subscription Manager Plugin - Extend to monitor other purchases

I’m wondering if anyone here might be able to contribute to the issue started at http://forum.foxycart.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=963&page=1#Item_1

Summary:

We’ve got a ModX installation with the FoxyCart Subscription Manager plugin installed. This is working OK to add ModX web users to a "subscribers" group after their subscription has been paid for in FoxyCart. We also have some other things that we sell that we also need to monitor for payment, such as event registrations. We tried to look at the Subscription snippet code to see if it could be extended, but we weren’t having any luck. Is there a way to specify another ping-back URL for a separate product? Or, is there a way to make the Subscription Manager confirm all sorts of transactions? Or does anyone know of a more robust FoxyCart transaction monitor for ModX?

Fwiw, v050 of FoxyCart has a rebuilt subscription handler as well as a subscription XML datafeed, which would _radically_ simplify any sort of subscription integration into MODx.

I don’t think anybody’s done it yet, but it’s worth noting so you don’t spend time trying to make the old stuff work when the new stuff would probably make your life a lot easier.

Thanks Brett - It is my understanding that FoxyCart 0.5 was not quite production ready and that you were still actively developing on it. Has that changed? Also, what is the status of the XML data feed version 0.8?

I have a lot of questions about doing what I need to do now, and about what I could do with 0.5, but response in the forums (here and on your site) have been slow. Is there anyway I can have someones ear for 30 minutes over the phone or via chat so I can get to the bottom of what I should be focusing on?

v050 isn’t "released" yet, but it will be soon. We’re using it ourselves, and as far as we know there are no known issues with it at this point. We’re just making sure before we let everybody know about it.

Datafeed v0.8 is solid. I’ll pm you additional info.
