    Hi to all,

    I have spent the night playing with Jot and have managed to get 98% of what I want to work.

    I have a problem getting a custom field to work. Looking at the wiki I found an example of how the output in the chunk should be - obviously I dont understand or am too stupid as mine doenst work sad

    I have a "Select" option which applies a CSS class - Dropdown with 2 choices.

    My Form code:
    <label for="title[+jot.id+]">Thumbs: Up or Down? <span class="compulsory">*</span></label>
    <select tabindex="[+jot.seed:math=`?+3`+]" name="thumbs" id="thumbs[+jot.id+]" >
      <option value="[+form.field.custom.thumbsup:esc+]" >Thumbs Up</option>
      <option value="[+form.field.custom.thumbsdown:esc+]" >Thumbs Down</option>
    </select>

    My Chunk looks something like this:
    <li class="commenter [+comment.custom.thumbs+]">

    Depending on the option selected I expected to get this output:
    <li class="commenter thumbsup"> or <li class="commenter thumbsdown">

    Can anyone tell me if im doing this right or wrong - would be appreciated smiley

    Am tired and am going to bed - been at this since 22:00 - is no 07:45

      So - after reading further and not going to bed I found a solution using a post about adding URL’s laugh

      My Form code is now:
      <label for="title[+jot.id+]">Thumbs: Up or Down? <span class="compulsory">*</span></label>
      <select tabindex="[+jot.seed:math=`?+3`+]" name="thumbs" id="thumbs[+jot.id+]" >
        <option value="thumbsup">Thumbs Up</option>
        <option value="thumbsdown">Thumbs Down</option>
      </select>

      My Chunk is the same:
      <li class="commenter [+comment.custom.thumbs+]">

      The snippet call:
      [!Jot? &customfields=`thumbs,name,email` &placeholders=`1` &output=`0` &pagination=`10` &css=`0` &captcha=`2` &moderated=`1` &subscribe=`0`!]

      Hope this helps others with similar problems smiley
