2 calls in 1 page

How to make 2 calls in one page? For example Ditto and Maxigallery.
I tried so:

2 calls on a single page is no problem, specially for unrelated snippets like Ditto and MaxiG. What is the problem you are having? I notices that your Ditto call is using old (-2.0) parameters. If you are using Ditto 2.+ you should change startID=`7` to parents=`7` and you no longer need to add the tv prefix to TVs (unless your TV is actually named tvauthor): Here are a few mods to the Ditto call to bring it up to date:

To use the summary function you need to load the summary extender and you can use the new orderBy rather than using sortBy and sortDir.

That really depends on your requirements. I use the content, and will either place code directly in te template, or indirectly in the form of chunks. There is a cool method in the wiki for using TVs to define which chunks show on a page. http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Create_TV-Based_Chunks
