Hi
Ditto query which i’m sure is very straight forward but i’m missing it ...
Have made a ’Featured Artists’ column for the homepage of a record label site - I want to output each featured artist in ’boxes’ which are held within a containing div. These boxes should actually be rich text documents targeted via a ditto call.
I made the Ditto a call from a chunk in a template, and the chunk contains an output template. This output template in turn outputs document id and title via the appropriate placeholders [[~+id+~]] [+title+]. The output template is a div with a 1pix border - this is the box for the featured artists.
So far so good, the boxes appear fine from the ditto call with doc id and link etc but i’d also like each box to contain rich text capability so that each one can contain personalised copy/images.
I lobbed a rich text TV - [*featured*] - into the output template but no joy. I’ve not figured out the right template, location, or method come to that, to place the TV so that it will output in the featured artist boxes via the ditto call.
Here’s what i’ve coded so far:
The chunk in the template: {{item_holder}}
The ditto call from within the chunk:
[[Ditto? &parents=`2` &tpl=`tpl_output-box` &filter=id,3,2]]
Contents of the called template: template &tpl=`tpl_output-box`
<div class="holder">
<h3><a href="[~[+id+]~]" title="[+title+]">[+title+]</a></h3>
</div>
Thanks in advance!
