eForm2db is a method and not a ready solution. Basically you are running a function to do the database interaction and running it on an eForm event (I think it is OnBeforeMailSent) which happens after the validation but before sending the mail. eForm2db uses the modx dbapi to handle the database connection / query which makes it easy to code, but you could use standard php code to handle the data.
