    Hi,

I just started yesterday with ModX, and are already very, very positive about this CMS. Real great work.
I’ve started developing a new site on mij portable computer, with WAMPserver installed, so at localhost.

When i try to use the sitemap snippet, it gives an XML parse error.
I’m pretty sure, it’s got something to do with the & (ampersand) sign in the company’s name, with is in the title and template all over.

How can i keep the & (ampersand) and still get the sitemap working ?

Have you tried Tools => Configuration => Site => XHTML URLs => Yes ?

        Yes, it was already active.

But that’s for URI’s not for form data like the title or content/template where the & Ampersand can be found.

I was thinking that way also, but it didn’t helped me enough.
for the record, i’m not an ’high-level’ developer, only a ’user’ so i can’t write mij own plugins

            - The entry in the title from the website, is changed automaticly by modx when saved, so if i enter & there the next time i open it it’s changed to &

            - I changed the & --> & in the template that solved a few of my problems.

Changing from Firefox to IE did the rest >:(
For now, i can live with this, but i know the owner of the site doesn’t like IE also and uses firefox too.

So i need to find another complete solution, to get it working in Firefox also...
