Using a Placeholder as a Ditto Parameter.

I’ve posted this same question in the General Support area.

I’m making the following call from my template.
```
[[Ditto? &parents=`6` &documents=`[+featured_item+]` &noResults=` ` &tpl=`featured_trans` ]]
```
Prior to making the call - I’m setting the placeholder with a call to a snippet. I know the place-holder variable works; I can see it has a value when I display it on a the screen.

I’ve also tried the same call using the [! !] delimiters. It also fails.

Any ideas?

Did you try to call your snippet cached? ...

[[yoursnippet]] 
```
the ditto-call uncached
and the document in uncached mode?
this did work in my case
