I’m creating a site for a client in which a parent document uses Ditto to create a blog style page from its child pages.

On the child pages, I have given my client the option of including images via MaxiGallery that is included (or not) via a template variable that is placed on the page template right after [*content*].

My problem is that I’m not sure how to get the final output from MaxiGallery onto the parent page. I would assume that there is a placeholder that I can use to grab the output from MaxiGallery, but looking through the documentation this doesn’t seem to exist. There are plenty of placeholders, but they all seem to be for components of MaxiGallery’s management form or data relating to the configuration itself.

Is there a way to create a custom placeholder or some other method that I can then include in my Ditto template?

Thanks for your help, and I hope my question makes sense.

Just wondering if anyone has had a look at this and if there’s a solution. Am I doing something totally retarded here? laugh

      Thanks for the help!

OK I am also having the same problem:

I am having a parent side with a Ditto call in which I would like to show galleries being placed in the child’s pages. But when I place MaxyGallery in the child they are not being displayed in the parent and vise versa. Is there a way to include Galleries in Child Pages and call them via Ditto?
