Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with a little FCKeditor niggle; it isn’t recognising the inserted image and only shows a broken image icon. The resource browser works fine as does the thumbnail generator. The image is correctly inserted in the html view and the image shows up on the published page. TinyMCE works fine with the images.
I’ve reviewed other FCKEditor posts but didn’t get a resolution
Folder & file permissions have been set wide open at 777
MODx is 9.6.1p2
FCKEditor is 2.3.2 from the MODx downloads repository
Resource path is absolute
Resource URL is relative ( tried absolute without success)
Host is Apache 2.2.8 & php 5.2.6 on linux
Appreciate any help or suggestions

So setting the Resource URL option to a root relative path doesn’t work? That seems odd. I set mine to this and it works just fine: /assets/ That’s assuming that MODx is installed as the root of the domain.

Modx is installed as www.mydomain.com/modx/ , changing the URL to the fully qualified www.mydomain.com/modx/assets doesn’t help either although the path is correctly recorded in the html.

@LesFragnes: Try setting your Resources URL configuration setting to just /modx/assets/ The ending slash is important.
@cept: This could mean one of several things:
1. The folders you’re uploading to hasn’t been given write permission (777).
2. The PHP max_upload_size setting is lower than the size of the file you’re uploading.
3. There is a problem with your server configuration.
4. There is a problem with your firewall as it relates to HTTP-XML transfers.
And root folder? Are you using the File Manager or the resource browser from within TinyMCE or FCKEditor? Also, FCKEditor isn’t bundled with MODx; TinyMCE is. Did you download and install FCKEditor? If so, what version?

Works for me. Many thanks for your time Jeff, if you are ever in France I’ll stand you a llama trek!
